What about green coffee or in Africa one still learns something ...
The fact that I sometimes miss something favorite here in the menu, or just that I get to something unusual for Europeans (thank God) has forced me to be more interested and looking ... Sometimes I feel like a small child who learns everything and everything is new to him. Until recently, for example, I had no idea how exactly coffee roasting went. All I knew was that there was a roaster and it would take care of everything.
Color and smell change
It took a few hours on the Internet, and I threw the first handful of the green beans on the hot pan, which I carefully picked up and stripped off the skins and stones for several days. With the cook in my hand, I watched the green turn brown and the grains bounce in the pan.
My hands ached from stirring, I was sweaty from the heat of the stove, - even from the outside, - but I was pleased with the smell of coffee, which began to pour throughout the apartment, and I was energized by the feeling that I had done something again, and in a short time I will be able to drink hand-roasted coffee :-)
