Mutete


pumpkin seed cubes with olives and sun-dried tomatoes home-made procedure: mix peeled pumpkin seeds, prepare a little salt, mashed garlic, ginger, chili and basil in a second bowl. Mix everything well and add the mixed pumpkin seeds and pour boiling water. Water enough to make the mixture a consistency like a dough for a bun - rather denser. Then put the mixture in a plastic bag, tighten well so that no water gets in and cook for 90 minutes in a pot of water. You can tell if it's done by the fact that the matter will be hard. After cooling, remove from the bag and cut and fry in a pan.

Ovinhos

Crokete

Cacusu

Preparing dried cacusu fish is time consuming, but it pays off. Rinse the dried fish and let it cook. During cooking for 20 minutes, change the water at least once to get rid of the salt, which prevents the dried fish from spoiling. After pulling, remove the scales, tail, head and spine. If you want to enjoy the fish, I recommend you do the job and remove all the bones. When you have nicely cleaned fish, fry on both sides, just a short time.

Couve

for this delicious side dish you will need cauliflower leaves, onions, tomatoes, garlic, oil and muamba - peanut butter. Heat the oil in a pot and add the chopped onions and tomatoes. Let simmer until the tomatoes release the juice. Then add the finely chopped cauliflower leaves, add salt, garlic and water. Let everything cook for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, mix peanut butter in the cup with a little water to make a smooth porridge, which you add to the pot. Cook for another fifteen to twenty minutes.

Bagr

To prepare, you will need: 1 kg peeled pumpkin seeds, several very ripe tomatoes, garlic, 2 eggs, fish dredger, tomato paste, palm oil Crush the pumpkin seeds and then add the garlic cloves and pieces of tomato. Knead them until they combine well, add the eggs and continue kneading until the mixture has a paste consistency and pumpkin seed oil begins to separate. Shape small balls and place in a pot of boiling water, where they will boil for two hours. Heat palm oil in a pot, add onion with chopped tomatoes and let it simmer for a while, add water, tomato puree, fish and bring to a boil. then add mutete, salt and pepper. Cover and let cook for 30 minutes.
